SİMA İmza (biometric digital signature app)
SİMA İmza is a mobile application for digital signatures in Azerbaijan. It was developed by AzInTelecom, part of AZCON Holding, and launched in 2022. It combines public key cryptography with face biometrics: users onboard by scanning an identity document and taking a selfie, and then confirm signatures in the app.
